answer Let's talk about "being passive" for a moment. As you can see you talk in a way as if everything "happens" to you. That shows lack of power and will. So please try to do this exercise from now on in your life. It's a well known exercise btw: Imagine a world where everyone lives for you. They live their lives for you but they try to conceal it from you. It's like they (and therefor also me) are [...]

comment Your views are very interesting as are the historical imagery you use to support it. I think on the whole I would agree with your point. Though, being the non-commital soul that I am, I always leave room open for other options which leaves the level of conviction to be lacking to yours. But such are personal choices. Again, an interesting analogy you use.

answer God does not allow or cause you to be abused, that is the fault of the person who is commiting these acts. If you are being abused, tell someone, and keep telling people till someone helps you. You have done nothing wrong and you do not need to be a victim. If you can post on the internet, you can contact some authority who can help.

answer Many people including myself think that they do have a soul. But what is a soul? The Greek word for soul is Psyche and that is a clue. The unconscious mind at least of mammals have a psyche, humans and other mammals assuredly deal with archetypical images relating to a shared racial memory, a collective unconsciousness. Hindus and Buddhists who believe in reincarnation do believe animals have a [...]

comment Do you really think that you are so special that you were created with a soul by an all loving God and that the rest of creation received no such love? I find it absurd to think animals have no soul.

comment With ample evidence for the Big Bang, we now know that Time, Space, Matter and Energy all had a begining, before that there was nothing in fact there was no before that at all. Having a begining, Time will have an end, along with Space, Matter and Energy. Only if the universe had existed forever, could we expect it to go on forever, but it did not and will not.
