comment organised religion is not the root of all evil but simply the voice of evil. a body if you like for evil. islam is not evil but extremist members wrongly interperate it as. thus giving them excuses and motives for mass murder and carnage.

answer The devil is the root of all evil. The so-called phrase, organized religion is a bit outdated. I like orderly religion better but all religions cannot be characterized in either context.

answer Now, instead of giving another "definite" answer to that question, I would simply like to demonstrate one of the evils that emerges from organized religion, weighing it with one of its benefits. Consider yourself to be living in an African village (what I, at the moment, do) and imagine there being not much possibilities as to what to do with your freetime (although the western concept of freetime [...]

question Will the Last War be fought over religion or resources? Does it matter? The masses have been duped and bribed throughout history by power and money. All the while we, humankind, have raped and plundered each other, the planet and it's inhabitants in the name of whoever (religious or political 'leaders') or whatever (arable land, water, any edible supply, minerals and now oil). How has it come [...]
